We are currently expanding the team working on a project to migrate data from 87 sources to a unified platform. The team is part of the BDS Competence Center, one of the strongest divisions in our Company, experts in Big Data, DWH construction, and using a modern BigData stack: Greenplum, Hadoop, NiFi, Hive, Spark/Scala, PostgreSQL, Informatica, Kafka, Apache Airflow, Apache Griffin, Iceberg, Parquet, SQL, Python

Office-based work, 5/2 schedule

What needs to be done:

• Interact with business stakeholders: analyze, clarify, and approve business requirements. You will be the bridge between the development team and the client.
• Search for data sources and perform data quality checks (data sources, data quality checks)
• Develop data mart models (prototyping using SQL)
• Approve solutions with client architects and present them to the client
• Develop ETL prototypes before handing them over for development (if technical skills allow, using Python and Spark)
• Write and execute test scenarios, maintain reconciliation with reference data
• Create project documentation (requirements, S2T, data models, transformation logic description)
• Execute ad-hoc queries (hypothesis testing, data validation and reconciliation, reference data preparation)
• Participate in the life of the development, data analytics, and data engineering team. Work according to Scrum
• The position requires visiting the office 5 days a week and working with sensitive data What we would like to see:
• Confident knowledge of SQL (join, CTE), understanding of normalization principles, experience in developing data marts
• Basic knowledge of data warehouse, data mart, and data model construction
• Developed logical thinking, ability to structure thoughts verbally and in writing
• Experience in information searching, reading, and designing data models
• Experience working with Jira and Confluence
