BACKEND DEVELOPER (KOTLIN)

About the company:

Got It Life is a Silicon Valley startup creating an AI-powered self-care application. The product uses a science-based model with AI-driven communication and psycholinguistic recognition to improve mental health and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems. • Develop robust and efficient APIs for the GotIt platform. • Create data storage and retrieval systems for large volumes of text data (for training and inference). • Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks in backend services. • Implement advanced security and industry compliance best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience in backend development with a focus on scalable systems design. • Experience in backend development with Kotlin or Java (transitioning to Kotlin as the primary language). • Experience with PostgreSQL and designing efficient data models. • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and using WebSocket. • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and DevOps skills (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).

Nice to have:

• Experience in application architecture design and integrating new business logic into existing architecture. • Familiarity with ML platforms (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and machine learning concepts.
