About the role: We are looking for an experienced Android Lead who will take responsibility for the development of the Android direction, make key technical decisions, and foster a strong engineering culture within the team. This is a role for someone who not only wants to write quality code but also influence the product architecture, development processes, and team growth.

What you will do:

Technical Leadership

• Lead the Android direction and develop the team of developers
• Make architectural decisions and be responsible for the technical quality of the product
• Develop and maintain Android applications in Kotlin
• Optimize the performance, stability, and quality of the application
• Monitor releases and the stability of the production environment

Development and Processes

• Participate in planning, estimation, and task decomposition
• Conduct code reviews and improve engineering culture
• Implement best practices, CI/CD, and modern development approaches
• Collaborate with iOS, Backend, QA, Product, and Marketing teams

Team

• Participate in hiring new specialists
• Support the professional growth and development of the team

What we are looking for:

Experience and Expertise

• 5+ years of commercial experience in Android development
• Experience in a Lead / Senior+ role with team management
• Excellent knowledge of Kotlin and Android SDK
• Experience publishing and maintaining production applications with a large audience
• Ability to independently make technical decisions and take responsibility for them

Technical Stack

• Coroutines / Flow
• Jetpack Compose
• Clean Architecture / MVVM / MVI
• REST API
• Firebase
• Google Play Billing / subscriptions
• CI/CD processes

Will be a plus:

• Experience scaling Android teams
• Experience with high-load mobile products
• Initiative in improving processes and technical culture
