Responsibilities
- Own and actively run the core product roadmap for PDF.net.
- Break high-level product goals into clear, shippable initiatives, milestones, and weekly execution plans.
- Turn ideas into concrete scopes: user flows, edge cases, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria engineers can implement immediately.
- Work day-to-day with engineering and design to unblock decisions, clarify trade-offs, and keep execution moving fast.
- Drive rapid discovery → build → ship → iterate loops, using lightweight user feedback, internal testing, and usage data.
- Coordinate cross-feature work (editing, AI, signing, document context, MCP connectors) so systems ship coherently, not as isolated features.
- Maintain a tight feedback loop post-launch: monitor metrics, review usage, file follow-ups, and push improvements quickly.
- Raise the execution bar by keeping specs sharp, scope focused, and delivery timelines realistic but aggressive.
Qualities that we’re looking for
- Strong track record shipping AI-powered B2B products, ideally in document editing, signing, or workflow automation.
- Hands-on experience working with AI systems (LLMs, document understanding, retrieval, agents), with the ability to turn capabilities into real user workflows.
- Solid systems thinking: comfortable reasoning about APIs, data flows, integrations, edge cases, and trade-offs between speed, quality, and scalability.
- Excellent execution judgment — knows what to ship now, what to cut, and what to defer to keep momentum high.
- Analytical and outcome-driven, able to diagnose issues through usage data, user feedback, and first-principles thinking.
- Highly autonomous and reliable in remote/async environments, with a bias toward action and clear written communication.
- Strong product taste: cares deeply about clarity, simplicity, and usability, especially in complex, AI-driven interfaces.
