Lime HD
Lime HD is an accredited IT company that has been developing its own video streaming products for over 12 years. Millions of viewers worldwide use our services, and now we are launching a new direction — a platform for automated video content production using AI.
About the Project
We are launching the "Content Factory" — a system that automatically cuts short vertical clips from our series (vertical dramas), adds subtitles, hooks, and CTAs, and publishes them through a network of accounts on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. The goal is a scalable channel for attracting users to the app without a proportional increase in the number of editors.
Currently in development is the pilot phase: a minimal end-to-end pipeline (video import → deduplication → transcription → AI scene selection with manual approval → cutting and vertical framing → subtitles/hook/CTA → render → publication to 5–10 test accounts on 1–2 social networks).
Important to understand in advance: the project covers several different technical areas — web-backend / frontend, video processing, and integration with external social media APIs. We are openly stating that the task is extensive for one person, and we are considering engaging an additional specialist (video/AI engineer) or outsourcing parts of the video pipeline as the project progresses — we will discuss how you see the workload distribution during the interview.
Responsibilities
- Development of the core platform: Laravel (backend), Vue/Inertia (frontend) — user roles, media library, publication calendar, social media account management;
- Work with task queues; integration with the pipeline orchestrator (Temporal or Airflow — stack choice is open);
- Writing/integrating Python workers for the video pipeline: FFmpeg, file deduplication (hashes), interaction with managed transcription APIs (Whisper) and LLMs for scene and description selection;
- Integration with official APIs YouTube Data API, TikTok Content Posting API, Instagram Graph API: publication, handling quotas and limits, classification and error retries;
- Setting up storage (S3-compatible), basic render queue infrastructure;
- Participation in technical spike for platform quotas (test applications, checking real limits);
- Basic logging system, action auditing, and alerts for queue hang-ups.
What we expect
- Production experience with Laravel (backend, queues, migrations, testing);
- Experience with Vue (Inertia.js preferably) on the frontend;
- Proficient Python at the level of "write and maintain working scripts/services"; experience with FFmpeg or similar media file processing is a plus;
- Experience integrating with external REST APIs, understanding of rate limits, retry logic, idempotency;
- Experience with task queues (Laravel Queues, Celery, or experience with Temporal/Airflow) — a big plus;
- Understanding of S3-compatible storage, basic DevOps skills (Docker, deployment, monitoring);
- Independence: readiness to delve into new areas (video processing, specifics of social media APIs) and soberly assess the scope of tasks.
Will be a plus
- Experience with PySceneDetect, pHash/chromaprint or other video/audio analysis tools;
- Experience publishing content through social media APIs (YouTube/TikTok/Instagram) in production;
- Experience working with products involving high volumes of automated content generation.
What we offer
- Participation in creating a new product from scratch;
- The opportunity to directly influence architecture and technical decisions;
- Minimal bureaucracy and a fast decision-making cycle;
- Flexible work format;
- A strong product team;
- The project is designed for 3–4 months. If the pilot launch is successful and the project transitions to MVP, cooperation may continue.
