Rubytech Group is a leading manufacturer of hardware-software complexes and a developer of technologies for high-load IT infrastructures. We produce our own "Skala^r" PAK line, as well as build and protect infrastructures from cyber threats, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of large businesses and government organizations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Defining architectural principles and standards for the modular platform;
- Developing the architecture of the modular platform (a single platform – multiple machines) with a focus on module reusability and unification;
- Forming architectural requirements through properties (modularity, scalability, fault tolerance, component updates), rather than through a fixed list of components;
- Aligning architectural solutions with teams: hardware, software development, operations, information security, and procurement (including requirements from the Ministry of Digital Development/Ministry of Industry and Trade);
- Designing interaction mechanisms between modules;
- Ensuring requirements (performance, reliability, security);
- Creating proof of concept for new technologies;
- Forming the technical roadmap for the modular platform.
Our candidate requirements:
- Higher technical education;
- Relevant work experience of 5+ years;
- Ability to formulate requirements through architectural properties, not through a list of components: modularity (module boundaries, versioning), scalability (horizontal/vertical, limits), fault tolerance (failover, RPO/RTO), updates (rolling updates, graceful degradation), observability (metrics, traces, alerts);
- Understanding of the PAK lifecycle and the role of architecture at each stage: concept → technical specification → design → implementation → operation;
- Experience in designing distributed systems;
- Experience with cloud platforms and multi-tenant architecture;
- Deep understanding of microservices and modular architecture;
- Skills in describing reference architecture and typical configurations: architectural diagrams, ADR (Architectural Decision Records), deployment scenarios, limitations, and assumptions;
- Experience in designing high-load systems;
- Skills in developing architectural documentation;
- Experience in developing technical standards and guidelines.
Desirable skills:
- Experience with regulatory and procurement requirements: ability to translate norms (including methodological recommendations from the Ministry of Digital Development) into architectural constraints and verifiable criteria;
- Knowledge of server hardware and storage systems (Yadro, Tatlin, and similar) at the level of architectural constraints: performance, availability, heat dissipation, transportation/placement, impact on fault tolerance and support costs;
- Experience in designing PAKs and modular platforms, including real projects with decomposition into basic modules and typical configurations;
- Experience in preparing documentation for licensing and certification: product description, requirements for the basic module, expert opinions, justification for the choice of components and equivalents;
- Experience in designing platforms based on the principle of "one platform – multiple machines" (reusable basic modules, configuration variability);
- Knowledge of specifics in calculating the cost of PAK technical support (SLA, labor costs, escalations, third-party contractors) and considering these factors at the architectural stage;
- Experience working with cross-functional teams;
- Conducting architectural reviews;
- Presenting solutions to stakeholders of various levels.
