What you will be doing
- Participating in processes and solutions for complex and medium-sized tasks;
- Forming feedback on tasks/functionality/methodologies;
- Testing the functionality of the company's proprietary software product;
- Writing test documentation: test cases, test plans, test strategies, test programs and methodologies;
- Analyzing technical specifications and agreeing on a work plan for current tasks;
- Preparing a test model for new enhancements to information systems;
- Functional and integration testing, ensuring user testing support;
- Finding defects and improving the quality of the software product.
What we expect from you
- At least 3 years of experience as a tester;
- Knowledge of types and levels of testing, test design techniques, testing artifacts and metrics;
- Skills in error localization and bug reporting;
- Experience in writing test cases and test plans, working with a regression model;
- Knowledge of software engineering basics, software development lifecycle, requirements management;
- SQL (at the level of simple DML and DDL operations);
- Experience with SOAPUI/POSTMAN tools for working with REST/SOAP, knowledge of JSON/XML; ADO (Azure DevOps);
- Experience testing microservice architecture;
- Experience testing Kafka.
Will be a plus
- Experience working in a team using agile methodologies (Safe, Scrum), as well as in a team using the waterfall software development model;
- Knowledge of HTML, JSON, XML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP methods GET, POST, response codes 1xx-5xx, ability to read headers and response bodies;
- Knowledge of tools for monitoring HTTP/HTTPS traffic (Charles, Fiddler, Wireshark);
- Knowledge of methodologies and assurance of quality risk control;
- Knowledge of process maturity standards for organizations, standards in the field of testing;
- Knowledge of the principles of operation of operating systems (Windows, Android, iOS, macOS, Linux);
- Knowledge of relational databases;
- Knowledge of standards and methodologies applied to applications;
- Knowledge of two-tier client-server architecture and three-tier architecture.
