Lead QA / Head of QA Team
QLAN is looking for an experienced Lead QA who can take on not only product testing but also the organization of processes within the QA team.
We are looking for a specialist capable of building an effective quality control system, forming unified testing standards, ensuring process transparency, and becoming a key point of interaction between QA, development, analytics, and management.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 3 testers: assigning tasks, distributing workload, monitoring deadlines and quality of execution.
- Build and improve testing processes within the team.
- Plan release testing, set priorities, and control task execution.
- Organize effective interaction with development, analytics, and product management teams.
- Participate in all stages of the product lifecycle as a lead quality expert.
- Conduct testing of critical user scenarios, complex integrations, and APIs.
- Monitor the quality of the team's test documentation.
- Develop and implement unified standards for preparing test cases, checklists, and bug reports.
- Create and maintain a knowledge base for testing.
- Participate in feature acceptance and control the readiness of tasks for release.
Candidate Profile
- 4+ years of experience in testing.
- Experience as a Lead QA, QA Lead, or Senior QA with team management experience.
- Practical experience managing a testing team of 2-3 people.
- Deep understanding of testing theory and test design techniques.
- Experience preparing test plans, test cases, checklists, and test documentation.
- Proficient in API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, Fiddler, or similar).
- Understanding of client-server application principles.
- Confident use of browser developer tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and information system architecture.
- Experience with task and defect management systems.
