"World of Tanks" is a hugely popular free-to-play online game, a flexible blend of a tank simulator, a dynamic shooter, an RPG, and even a strategy game. During its existence, the "World of Tanks" game has won the hearts of millions of players, and the number of dedicated fans is growing every day. Monthly updates, prize promotions, ease of learning, and endless variety of game tactics are just a few of the game's many advantages.
We will be happy to find a new colleague – Mod Developer to work in our Saint Petersburg office.
Tasks to be performed:
- Development and support of modifications for the "World of Tanks" game interface using Python and React.
- Porting existing modifications from Flash to Gameface, adapting them to modern technologies and client requirements.
- Creating new modifications based on internal team ideas, as well as player suggestions and requests.
- Refining, optimizing, and developing existing solutions to improve usability and stability.
- Searching for and fixing bugs in new and previously implemented modifications, and promptly resolving emerging issues.
- Analyzing user feedback, identifying audience needs, and implementing improvements.
- Consulting and assisting players with modification issues in case of technical difficulties.
- Interacting with other company departments during the implementation, testing, and support of solutions.
We expect:
- Love for games.
- Experience with Python 2.7/3 (OOP, classes, inheritance, operator overloading, method overriding).
- Frontend skills (React, JS, CSS, HTML, TypeScript).
- Ability to read and understand unfamiliar code.
Will be a plus:
- Knowledge of ActionScript 3, C++, Reverse Engineering fundamentals.
- Experience using AI in work.
