📍 Junior Backend Developer (Python: Django / FastAPI) Format: remote Employment: full-time Official registration: in an accredited IT company

We are looking for a junior backend developer to join a team that develops a product platform with a large volume of data and a dozen internal services.

What you will do • Develop and maintain REST API on Django and FastAPI. • Handle requests from the product team and colleagues from related departments. • Identify causes of failures and fix simple bugs. • Write and optimize queries to PostgreSQL and ClickHouse. • Connect to servers via SSH: view logs, check container status, perform basic diagnostics. • Respond to incidents during on-call shifts. • Make minor frontend changes (JavaScript). • Figure things out independently, and if a task hits a ceiling, go to a senior developer with gathered context. • Complete tasks from the backlog. • Gradually dive into the platform architecture and understand how its parts are interconnected.

Our stack Python (Django, FastAPI), JavaScript, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, Docker, Git, Linux, REST API.

You are a good fit if: • You write Python confidently and have worked with at least one of the frameworks: Django or FastAPI. • You understand how HTTP works and the principles of REST API design. • You are proficient in basic SQL and are not afraid to delve into someone else's data schema. • You are familiar with Git, Docker, and the Linux command line. • You can connect to a server via SSH and perform simple diagnostic actions. • You can read JavaScript and are capable of making minor frontend corrections. • You can understand existing code, not just write your own from scratch. • You are ready to find the cause of a problem yourself, not wait for a ready-made answer. • You want to see the system as a whole, not just an isolated piece of code.

Will be a plus • Experience with Redis, ClickHouse, or Celery. • Understanding of asynchronous Python (asyncio, async/await). • Experience writing tests (pytest). • Familiarity with Nginx, CI/CD, monitoring systems. • Experience in finding and fixing bugs in existing projects. • Interest in data analytics and high loads.
