About the Vacancy

We have an increasing number of interesting book projects, and we need layout designers specializing in print layout.

This is a project-based role. We work mostly remotely with regular online meetings to discuss projects. For those in Moscow, you can come to the office and work here; office visits are optional.

Who do we want on our team? Someone with experience, good taste, and a modern approach to print design, ready to work hard and create cool corporate books with us, of which there are not many in Russia yet.

Candidate Requirements — A portfolio (print publications) is mandatory; — Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop at a professional level. — General responsiveness and speed of work are very important! Sometimes you have to work under urgent deadlines, there's no time to procrastinate. — Reasonable attitude towards revisions, sometimes — many times over. Revisions are normal. — Ability to work creatively, not like a robot. Ability to integrate new elements into an existing concept without losing its original meaning. — General culture and literacy, openness to new knowledge, and a positive outlook on life. — Ability to work on your own computer.

What needs to be done

1. Develop a design concept for the publication from scratch, considering the overall idea and the specifics of the material (photos/texts).
2. Create infographics: clearly, visually, and non-trivially present information using graphics.
3. Lay out design drafts — flexibly, with meaning, adapting the design concept to the material if necessary.
4. Refine details in the layout, make adjustments, and technically adhere to all print nuances (margins, color profiles, etc.).
5. Fully prepare the layout for printing for offset and digital (if you have gaps in this area, we will teach you).
