Vacancy: Business Analyst (Crypto / FinTech)

Alterpay is a dynamic team of 27 professionals with experience in implementing fintech projects in a regulated jurisdiction.

Our main brand, Secure8, is a centralized crypto platform operating within the legislation of the Republic of Belarus. We ensure fast, secure, and transparent operations with digital assets, connecting businesses with the world of cryptocurrencies in a legally protected environment.

We are currently looking for a Business Analyst with blockchain/fintech experience who will help us systematically develop and build one or more products, acting as a link between business, users, and the development team.

What you will be doing:

• Gathering, analyzing, formalizing, and approving requirements for the company's fintech products (payments, transactional systems, crypto-fiat logistics, integrations), considering the specifics of regulation and the domain.
• Writing specifications and tasks for the development team (V&S, epics, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria).
• Modeling business processes (BPMN/UML/…), participating in solution design together with the development team.
• Conducting interviews with users and internal stakeholders to identify problems and needs.
• Participating in release planning and backlog prioritization.
• Supporting requirements from idea refinement to implementation/support.
• Participating in the acceptance of implemented tasks, validating solution compliance with requirements, interacting with QA.

What we expect from the candidate:

• Business Analyst experience of 3+ years, with mandatory experience in the fintech and/or blockchain domain.
• Understanding of how crypto exchanges, wallet services, KYC/AML processes work.
• Systemic thinking.
• Skills in structuring and presenting information to the team/stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills.
• High level of self-organization, autonomy.
• Engagement and proactivity.
• Ability to think critically and challenge proposals/solutions from colleagues/management.

Will be a plus:

• Experience in the product development phase from scratch (from the discovery/pre-launch stage up to launch inclusive).
• Understanding of financial flows, banking integrations, and specifics of fintech products.
• Understanding of API principles (REST/JSON), experience in describing and analyzing integrations.
