🔥 Appercut is looking for an Android Lead in Warsaw (Hands-on / On-site / B2B from $5000)

Hi! We are looking for a strong Android Lead who will take responsibility for the technical development of the Android direction: from architecture and engineering standards to release quality and team development. We need a hands-on specialist, ready not only to make architectural decisions but also to implement features alongside the team. You will develop the common technical platform, accelerate the launch of new products, and build effective processes.

🌐 What you will be doing: • Architecture and Standards: Develop application architecture, establish development standards, and conduct code reviews. • Base Template: Develop and maintain a base Android template for rapid launch of new products. • Hands-on Development: Design and implement product features together with the team. • Planning: Estimate and decompose tasks together with Product, Design, and Backend. • Team Development: Mentor developers, participate in technical interviews and hiring. • Quality and Releases: Organize publications on Google Play, monitor stability, crashes, and ANRs. • Engineering Processes: Maintain CI/CD, technical documentation, and knowledge base.

🔍 What we expect: • Experience: from 5 years in commercial Android development, including at least 1 year in a Lead / Tech Lead role. • Location: reside in Warsaw and be ready to work from the office. • Stack: Kotlin, Coroutines, Flow, Jetpack Compose in production. • Architecture: Clean Architecture, MVVM/UDF, multi-module, Gradle. • Base: Retrofit/OkHttp, Room, DataStore, Unit-testing. • Releases: experience of the full cycle of preparation and publication on Google Play. • Languages: fluent Russian and technical English.

🔥 Bonus points for: • Koin, Navigation 3, WorkManager. • Analytics SDK, crash monitoring, Google Play Billing. • CI/CD based on GitLab CI. • Experience using AI tools in development.
