Senior Python Developer Cybersecurity

METASCAN Senior Python Developer Cybersecurity Experience: 3–6 years Full-time Schedule: 5/2 Work format: remote

☑️ Responsibilities -1) Developing base classes and unifying code, improving the internal framework -2) Releasing a large number of new vulnerability search modules that use our framework as a "wrapper" -3) Optimizing code performance, specifically optimizing API, model, and Elasticsearch query performance -Implementation of base classes for the vulnerability scanner framework in Python3 -Implementation of a testing system for developed modules -Creation of new modules for the platform in the form of wrappers over utilities/containers/APIs (nuclei, patator, wpscan, specific PoC exploits) -Writing tests (unittest/pytest) and technical documentation -Code review -Participating in architectural decisions

☑️ Candidate Requirements -We are looking for someone for the core system development team - the main component of the scanner -Experience in product development with Python3 -Experience with Django, DRF -Experience with Celery -Experience with MySQL, Elasticsearch -Good understanding of Linux operations (systemd, iptables, bash) -Understanding of Docker - building images, running, debugging -Experience with Git commit/pull request policies

Will be a plus: -Experience with RabbitMQ, Redis -Experience with Ansible -Experience with vulnerability scanners MaxPatrol, Nessus, Acunetix or others -Experience with BurpSuite or ZAP -Interest in the subject area: penetration testing, OSINT, reverse engineering
