Job Description: Ensuring the information security of the University's information systems, services, and digital infrastructure. Monitoring information security events and identifying potential threats and incidents. Participating in the investigation and remediation of information security incidents. Identifying vulnerabilities and potential information security risks. Participating in risk assessments and developing measures to mitigate them. Monitoring compliance with information security requirements by users and departments of the University. Participating in the development, updating, and implementation of internal information security policies, regulations, and procedures. Participating in information security audits and checks. Interacting with IT departments in implementing measures to protect information systems and infrastructure. Participating in ensuring the protection of personal data and other confidential information. Preparing reports on information security matters. Participating in raising employee awareness on information security issues. Interacting with external contractors and vendors on information security matters.

Higher education in information security, information technology, computer science, or related fields. At least 2 years of experience in information security. Knowledge of basic principles and approaches to ensuring information security. Understanding of modern information security threats and information system protection methods. Knowledge of information risk management and incident response fundamentals. Understanding of personal data and confidential information protection principles. Proficiency with monitoring systems and information security tools will be an advantage. Experience in vulnerability analysis and risk assessment will be an advantage. Ability to work with technical documentation and regulatory documents. Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and responsibility. Ability to work independently and effectively interact with colleagues.

Will be an advantage Possession of professional certifications in information security. Experience with SIEM, DLP, EDR/XDR, IAM, vulnerability scanners, and other information protection tools. Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, NIST standards and practices. Experience in educational institutions, large companies, or organizations with developed IT infrastructure. Knowledge of English.
