Agvend is a B2B SaaS platform for the North American agricultural sector.

According to the company, the platform has been operating for 8 years and covers about 30% of the ag-retail market in the USA and Canada. The team has about 150 people, with about 100 in R&D. The team works fully remotely; offices are available in Canada, the USA, and Cyprus for those who wish.

Stack and infrastructure

— Backend: Python, Django, DRF, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, AWS.

— Frontend: React, TypeScript.

— Architecture: modular monolith — 3 large applications and satellite microservices.

— Infrastructure: 5 production Kubernetes clusters, about 150 tenants, approximately 5,000 requests per minute.

— CI/CD: CircleCI, Docker/ECR, Helm, Terraform, blue-green deployments.

Tasks

— Develop functionality from API to UI, without separation between backend and frontend.

— Be responsible for your area: architecture, code review, and production work.

— Work with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse under load, a multi-tenant architecture, and millions of records.

Requirements

— From 5 years of commercial fullstack development experience, Senior level.

— Production experience with both Python/Django/DRF and React/TypeScript.

— Strong command of Python, Django, and DRF.

— Experience working with PostgreSQL under load.

— From 2 years of experience with React and TypeScript at a product level.

— Independence: managing your own area and direct work with the PM.

— Russian language for primary work communication, English at a working level.

Will be a plus

— ClickHouse and other analytical databases.

— Experience with high-load systems or in fintech.

— Skills in working with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and CircleCI, including troubleshooting pipelines.

— Experience with queues and distributed systems: Kafka, RabbitMQ, idempotency.
