Build the Growth Engine of the World’s #1 Decentralized Network by AI Compute

At Gonka, we’re building the liquidity layer for decentralized AI compute — connecting GPU owners and AI developers into a scalable global infrastructure.

The project was founded by the Liberman siblings— serial entrepreneurs with a Silicon Valley track record. They previously built Kernel AR, an AR startup acquired by Snap Inc., and later worked at Snapchat as product leaders.

The Libermans’ holding company, Libermans Co.,has been publicly described as valued at ~$400M.Gonka has also secured a $50M strategic commitment from Bitfuryvia token allocation, with funds used to support network growth and ecosystem development.

Product mission: to build a competitive alternative to centralized cloud providers — offering global, affordable, and effectively unlimited access to useful AI compute, while stimulating innovation in hardware and distributed infrastructure.

Backed by a fast-moving teamand a rapidly growing global community (14k+ Discord, 17k+ on X), we’re expanding internationally and building a new generation of AI infrastructure.

The Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Leader to drive Gonka’s next stage of growth.

You will work directly with the founders, shape the marketing function, expand the team, and build a scalable global engine.

This Is a Four-Sided Ecosystem Challenge:

GPU Hosts (Supply) — from independent operators to professional infrastructure providers, driving sustained growth in connected compute capacity.

Adoption & Usage (Demand) — increasing real workload consumption across AI teams, startups, and products, with a focus on utilization and repeat usage.

Community— building and engaging a strong ecosystem as the core of the network, driving long-term adoption and product usage.

Exchange/Token Layer — supporting future token listing and developing its presence across exchanges as part of the network’s overall liquidity and economic layer.

Core Marketing Directions

Media, public communications & GR(interviews, podcasts, public speaking, converting GR activities into media coverage).

Community marketing, including AMAs (primary platforms:14k+ Discord, 17k+ on X).

Events(AI/developer/Web3 conferences and industry gatherings).

Developer marketing/DevRel(working with the developer community and driving adoption).

Reddit and Telegram(currently not core channels, but likely to expand into them).

This role focuses on establishing global visibility and building a sustainable ecosystem across these channels.

What Success Looks Like

Top-tier global podcast and media presence.

~25% MoM growth in connected compute capacity.

Discord from 14k → 100k+ (organically, globally).

Scaled developer adoption and usage (long-term target: ~100B tokens/day inference).

Strongenterprise and startup AI use cases.

Clear category positioning: Decentralized AI > centralized alternatives.

What We Offer

Fully remote work with a flexibleschedule (3 hours of overlap with California working hours).

Employment in the US with full medical benefits, or a B2B/B2C contract for candidates outside the US.

Who You Are

Experience & Background:

Current CMO/Marketing Director —or a strong “-1” ready to step up.

Experience leading marketing teams while staying hands-on in key growth areas.

Proven track record of scaling products (0 → 1 or 1 → X) in AI infra, DevTools, marketplaces, fintech, or crypto infrastructure.

Experience working in international/English-speaking markets.

Mindset & Fit:

Thrive in autonomous environments, fast iteration, and close collaboration with founders.

Able to connect multiple functions (community, PR, partnerships, product) into a unified growth system.

Experience working with media, founder-led narratives, and global public presence.

Focused on real growth and usage, not vanity metrics or hype-driven marketing.

Comfortable engaging both GPU whales/infrastructure operators and AI builders/developers.

Ready for a role with significant ownership, a global-timezone cadence —not a strict 9–6.
