Develops cryptocurrency trading systems, algorithms, market data infrastructure, and exchange connectivity.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain market data components and connectivity to cryptocurrency exchanges.
- Develop and maintain trading algorithms and add features to the trading system.
- Optimize the trading system for microsecond and nanosecond performance.
- Collaborate with different teams to maintain and improve trading systems.
- Lead assigned technical initiatives independently from requirements gathering through deployment.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of C++ software development experience, with a desirable total of at least 10 years in software development.
- Experience with high-load and low-latency applications, including optimizing low-latency systems for microsecond and nanosecond performance.
- Good understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Good knowledge of network protocols.
- Experience in financial markets and/or high-frequency systems.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills, including the ability to debug critical issues.
- Ability to independently lead technical initiatives from requirements gathering through deployment.
- Proficiency with modern AI-assisted development tools and workflows, such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent.
Nice to have
- Exposure to WebSockets, FIX, or Kafka.
- Experience developing trading strategies.
- Experience with kernel bypass or DPDK.
- Experience with system-level and network performance optimization.
- Ability to lead the team in the future and work with remotely located developers.
