About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in blockchain node validators and infrastructure automation. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure for blockchain validator nodes across multiple networks. You will work closely with blockchain developers and other engineers to ensure high availability, security, and performance of our node infrastructure.
Job description
- Design, deploy, and maintain blockchain validator nodes across various networks
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI for efficient testing and deployment
- Architect and manage Kubernetes clusters for scalable and reliable infrastructure
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Ansible for configuration management
- Create and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments
- Implement comprehensive monitoring solutions using Prometheus and Grafana
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across our platform
- Optimize resource utilization and implement cost-effective solutions
- Document infrastructure designs, operational procedures, and best practices
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 availability of critical services
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain secure infrastructure practices
Qualifications
You have:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles
- Proven experience with blockchain validator node setup, maintenance, and optimization
Highly preferred:
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes cluster management in production environments
- Proficiency with Ansible for infrastructure automation and configuration management
- Experience with Helm charts for Kubernetes application deployment
- Strong skills in implementing monitoring solutions with Prometheus and Grafana
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking concepts
Will be a plus:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with infrastructure security best practices
