Job Description

We have launched an onboarding program for experienced backend developers — Multitrack. The program lasts 2–3 months: during this time, we offer you to work in three Yandex teams, get acquainted with our developers and technologies.

We expect you to

• Be proficient in Java, Python, Go, or C++
• Have developed commercial applications for at least 7 years
• Have experience with multithreaded programming.
• Have supported software from development to production deployment
• Write high-quality code and be comfortable working with others' code
• Be able to monitor the performance of finished software and respond promptly to issues
• Understand classical algorithms and data structures
• Have a broad technical background

It will be a plus if you have:

• Designed architecture and developed product features
• Experience in Unix/Linux development and network programming
• Understand the basics of TCP/IP and HTTP
• Understand the principles of DBMS operation

Multitrack is not an internship or temporary work. You sign an employment contract and receive a salary, all bonuses, and benefits available to Yandex employees from day one.
