Chief Accountant

Almaty

Company: A group of digital products in the field of online tourism and related areas: internet tourism, B2B services, new initiatives within Astana Hub. Operates in the Kazakhstan market, actively entering international markets.

Key Responsibilities: • Setting up accounting and tax accounting from scratch for new directions: accounting policy, chart of accounts, document flow, implementation and setup of 1C • Accounting for the international direction — currency transactions, non-residents, cross-border payments — plus reception and audit of accounting for existing directions • Tax accounting and reporting, interaction with tax/state authorities, support for audits • Control of financial discipline, primary documentation and settlements; participation in financial analysis and cost optimization • Methodological support for the team on accounting issues

We are looking for you if: • Higher education in accounting/finance/economics, at least 5 years of experience as a chief accountant or deputy • Experience in setting up accounting and processes from scratch, deep knowledge of the tax legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan • Have worked with 1C (including implementation/customization) and with international operations/non-residents • Have gone through tax audits and interaction with state authorities • Analytical thinking, systematic approach, attention to detail, high responsibility
