After a year, we're looking for wonderful senior SWEs at Scope AI 🌕

You might remember them as a startup that automates inspections — but over the year, Scope has significantly expanded (pun intended): they raised a $20M round, grew ARR 10x, and their clients include SpaceX, AstraZeneca, and 7 out of the top 10 inspection companies. In short, there's a queue forming — and here's why.

Imagine you have a house. Or a factory. Or you're Elon Musk and you have a rocket. In short, something big, physical, and located far from you. You want to know the condition of this physical object — whether the pipes in the house have rusted, if a new workshop has been built at the factory, and when the rocket's windshield washer fluid was last changed.

This is difficult. This is information about the physical world that is poorly indexed, takes a long time to collect manually, and is stored in scattered PDFs and emails. Scope wants to change this, and make it as easy to find any information about a physical object as it is to find an email in your inbox 📩

To do this, they need a Senior Software Engineer who knows how — and truly loves — to think about the product. If your eyes light up at the thought of visiting sites and communicating directly with users — perhaps this is you!💬 If not — don't stop reading, there's something for you too.

So, what we need from you: 🙂 5+ years of SWE experience — for example, in product teams at big tech companies or strong early-stage startups; 🖥 willingness to write in TypeScript; 🧱 be more of a builder: develop parts of the architecture yourself, invent features, and generally be responsible for your work end-to-end.
