Location: Remote outside of Russia, Belarus Company: World Chess Salary: from $3,500 to $4,000 gross Employment: Full-time

Product: global chess platform with real-time functionality, subscriptions, and interactive UI Experience: from 3 years

At World Chess, we are not just making an app, but a full-fledged product: real-time play, accounts, subscriptions, analytics, and complex user scenarios. We are looking for an Android developer who can independently bring features to production and understands how to build a stable application.

You are the right fit for this vacancy if you have: • Android / Kotlin: • Kotlin • Android SDK • Coroutines / Flow • Jetpack (ViewModel, Navigation, etc.) • Work with networking, serialization, and local data storage

Architecture: • MVVM / MVI • Understanding of Clean Architecture • Separation of UI / domain / data layers

Production practice: • Experience working with crash reports, ANR, edge cases • Integration with API and unstable backends • Performance optimization • Experience with releasing and supporting an application

Important: • Ability to independently manage features end-to-end • Experience working with a real product, not just educational projects • Good communication with the team (backend, QA, product, design)

A plus would be: • Jetpack Compose • Experience with subscriptions / billing / paywall • Real-time or interactive applications • Complex UI (dashboards, lists, live data) • Experience working with legacy code
