Business Operations & Partnerships Manager
Remote
AI startup in the adult entertainment sphere (AI roleplay) with $120K+/month revenue and ~10 people in the team. We are growing in the US/EU markets, aiming for 5–10x growth within a year while maintaining positive unit economics.
Role:
Core responsibilities include operational management, project work, and external communications. You will free up the CEO for strategic tasks by taking on "complex, undefined work" and driving it to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up internal processes: compliance, legal entities, finances, hiring
- Managing projects end-to-end: from accounting software to payment systems
- Negotiating with partners, banks, investors; fundraising
- Seeking collaborations and new growth opportunities
Requirements:
- Experience in independently closing complex projects in IT/digital (from scratch, not just executing a spec)
- Proven track record of commercial deals: partners, investors, banks — from negotiation to signing and funding
- Ability to quickly understand new domains (legal, taxes, PSP, compliance) without mentorship
- Structured approach: task management system, organized processes
- English B2 level (for negotiations with US/EU)
Will be a plus:
- Startup scaling experience, fundraising, working with unit economics
- Understanding of the adult/grey niche
- English C1+, active use of AI tools
- Owning a business or partnership experience in a startup
Not required:
- Deep technical knowledge (programming, ML) — there is a separate team for this
