Freelance Technical Designer / 3D Visualiser

We’re looking for a freelance designer to work with us on a regular, project-by-project basis across bathrooms, kitchens, outdoor areas and other residential projects.

This is a varied role combining technical drawing with 3D design and visualisation.

The most important part of the job is accuracy. Designs need to be produced to exact measurements and scale, with clear drawings that can be handed directly to the tradespeople carrying out the work on site.

The work may include:

• Producing accurate scaled plans, elevations and detailed drawings
• Creating 3D models and visualisations to help clients see the proposed design
• Developing layouts for bathrooms, kitchens, tiling and outdoor spaces
• Working from site measurements, sketches, photographs and design ideas
• Planning the positioning of tiles, sanitaryware, cabinetry, fixtures and other elements
• Providing clear dimensions and information for installation on site
• Making revisions as designs develop or site requirements change

We’re not particular about what software you use. What matters is that you can produce accurate, professional technical drawings alongside clear 3D visualisations.

Experience in interior design, architectural technology, construction detailing, kitchen or bathroom design, or a similar area would be particularly useful. A practical understanding of how designs translate into real-world installation would be a strong advantage.

This is a freelance position, with work offered on a project-by-project basis. While the workload may vary, we are looking to build an ongoing relationship with someone who can become our regular go-to person for this type of work.
