☑️ Our stack: PostgreSQL / ClickHouse DBMS, Python, Apache Airflow, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes.
☑️ Main tasks:
- Support of the current product functionality.
- Expansion and development of the existing product functionality.
- Analysis of logs, data, building logical chains, constructing and testing hypotheses;
- Creation and support of new data pipelines;
- Work with Clickhouse. Writing and optimizing medium/complex SQL queries;
- Analysis, preparation, and processing of data;
- Ensuring data quality.
☑️ You will support and develop:
- Desktop cross-platform software (Java 17+, Swing);
- Monolithic software, includes client and server parts (interaction via gRPC);
- Absence of a framework, proprietary developments are used;
- Organization of interaction with databases (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse) via JDBC, without connecting additional libraries;
- Organization of mechanism operations in multithreaded mode using ExecutorService, CompletableFuture;
- Code coverage with tests (Mockito, JUnit);
- Analytical queries and large volumes of data (~60 TB).
☑️ To implement the tasks, you will need:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of relational database theory, understanding of logical and physical database models;
- Experience in optimizing complex queries;
- Experience in troubleshooting systems operating under high load.
- Experience in creating and supporting ETL processes;
- Deep practical experience in Python development (pandas, numpy);
- Experience with Apache Airflow, independent DAG creation;
- Experience with Clickhouse DBMS, writing medium/complex and non-trivial SQL queries;
- Ability to independently take on tasks, clarify requirements as needed, and bring them to final completion;
- Skill in finding optimal solutions: ability to work in conditions of uncertainty, formulate questions and propose solutions.
