Brightman Recruitment Agency is looking for a System Analyst (Compass Payment) to work from the client's office in Almaty.
The project is dedicated to the development and integration of a modern payment platform that ensures secure and reliable payment processing and interaction with external systems. The solution includes scalable microservices, asynchronous transaction processing, and mechanisms for tracking payment statuses and error handling, with fault tolerance, security, and high system availability as key priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Gathering and analyzing requirements for payment processing.
- Formalizing business requirements and system requirements.
- Defining functional and non-functional requirements.
- Developing integration specifications.
- Describing the interaction of the Compass Payment system with internal and external systems.
- Developing and maintaining REST API specifications.
- Defining the structure of JSON requests and responses.
- Describing payment transaction statuses and transitions between them.
- Formalizing scenarios for successful and unsuccessful payment processing.
- Defining requirements for idempotency and transaction reprocessing.
- Using UML/BPMN notations for modeling processes and system interactions.
- Using SQL for data analysis and verification.
- Participating in the analysis of integration problems and incidents.
- Preparing requirements and acceptance criteria for development.
- Interacting with architects, developers, and testing specialists (QA).
- Analyzing existing functionality and identifying necessary changes.
- Participating in acceptance testing of implemented functionality and verifying its compliance with requirements.
Requirements:
- Practical experience as a system analyst (more than 3 years).
- Practical experience with payment systems and a deep understanding of the payment transaction lifecycle, including key processing stages, statuses, and state transitions.
- Experience in documenting business requirements and system requirements.
- Experience in preparing specifications for integration.
- Practical experience with REST APIs.
- Proficient in JSON format.
- Practical experience with SQL.
- Knowledge of UML and BPMN notations.
- Understanding of idempotency principles.
- Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous integration scenarios.
- Experience interacting with developers, QA engineers, and architects.
- Experience decomposing requirements to a level sufficient for development and testing.
- Direct practical experience with Compass Payment/TranzAxis/TranzWare.
- English language proficiency — Intermediate and above.
- Willingness for a long-term business trip to Almaty (Kazakhstan) to work from the client's office.
Will be a plus: experience in banking, payment, or FinTech projects.
