Almost all major Yandex services — Market, Taxi, Music, Food — have a payment process. We want to make it as convenient and secure as possible. For this, we are creating a bank that we ourselves would like to use.
The development team is building an analytical accounting platform. We are designing the core mechanism for generating and storing accounting entries for banking products. We are also working on the system for accessing and managing transactions: we account for primary documents and implement other key functions, without which launching a financial product would be impossible.
We use a microservices architecture, data storage systems (Managed PG, YDB) and task distribution systems (STQ, Kafka). For monitoring we use Grafana, and automatic notifications are sent to Telegram chat.
