Senior Devops Engineer\Team Lead

Position: Senior Devops Engineer\Team Lead; Location: Russian Federation + outside RF only if tax residency is available; Work format: remote; Employment: full-time; Salary range: from 350 thousand to 480 thousand net

We are looking for a Senior Devops Engineer\Team Lead for a banking project to develop our own MLOps platform. Currently migrating from Bitbucket to GitLab. Primary tasks: gathering requirements from all teams, developing architecture, setting up MVP.

Team: Role: player-coach (60% technical tasks, 40% managerial)

• Up to 4 people reporting;

Key skills and requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps engineer;
• Minimum management experience;
• Knowledge of GitLab and GitLab CI; Jenkins; ArgoCD; Kubernetes (bare metal, not cloud managed solutions).
• Understanding of ML technologies will be a plus. The project uses MLFlow, integrations with Spark and Hadoop. However, the primary focus of the role is infrastructure, DevOps/MLOps, and platform development, not ML model development or training.
