Main tasks:

• Leading the development of the entire data factory, in cooperation with product teams at all stages of the DATA product lifecycle;
• Hiring, training of DATA department specialists (ETL, DE, DS, DA, BI, etc.) and organizing their professional growth and development, monitoring the effectiveness of their work in projects and product teams;
• Defining technological standards and rules for data management in the company;
• Technical leadership (chief tech lead) for developments on the data platform of analytical applications;
• Improving processes and tools for data quality (DQ) management and master data management (MDM);
• Organizing the rapid scaling of DATA development in the rapidly growing business of our company;
• Mentoring for DATA department employees, consulting on solving non-standard tasks.

Requirements for knowledge and experience:

• Higher education;
• Team management experience (from 30 people);
• Management experience in the role of data platform development lead, head of data management, technical director for data management projects, or similar management positions in the DATA field – from 5 years;
• Practical experience in implementing DATA projects (creating data warehouses, implementing BI systems, data lakes, BIGDATA, etc.) - at least 3 projects in the portfolio;
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational database principles (preferably knowledge and experience with the Arenadata software line);
• Knowledge of technological approaches and organization of data integration work (ETL, ELT, data buses, queues, etc.) (preferably project experience with Airflow, Nifi, Kafka);
• Knowledge of basic architectural standards and data modeling patterns (Data Vault, Snowflake, etc.), as well as practical experience in implementing at least one of the Data Governance tools (data catalog, data traceability, metadata management, etc.);
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Yandex Cloud and/or Sber Cloud);
• Practical experience in implementing an MDM solution project (master data and reference data management);
• Experience in organizing MLOps processes.
