We are looking for a **Senior / Lead Biostatistician **with solid hands-on experience in clinical or preclinical research, statistical analysis, and study design within pharma, biotech, or CRO environments. The client is specifically interested in statisticians who can independently drive the full analytical cycle - from SAP development to regulatory-ready outputs - and communicate results clearly to cross-functional international teams.

Location Remote / international setup. Candidates from EU countries preferred.

Main requirements

• MSc or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
• 5+ years of experience in biostatistics, clinical trials, pharma, biotech, or CRO
• Strong experience with clinical or preclinical study design, analysis, and reporting
• Proficiency in R and/or SAS
• Experience developing and reviewing Statistical Analysis Plans
• Understanding of regulatory requirements in clinical research (FDA/EMA)
• Good English communication skills - able to discuss statistical results with international teams

Key responsibilities

• Provide statistical support across study design, analysis, and interpretation of clinical/preclinical data
• Develop and review Statistical Analysis Plans
• Produce statistical analyses, tables, listings, figures, and summaries for study reports and publications
• Apply statistical modelling and simulation to support study design and assess result robustness
• Support regulatory-related activities and documentation where applicable
• Contribute to methodology development and quality standards

Nice to have

• Experience in regulatory submissions or responses to FDA/EMA questions
• Strong SAS background
• Experience on long-term international clinical research programmes
