Title: Freelance IT / Systems Support Specialist – Oracle & Healthcare Applications
We are looking for experienced freelance IT professionals to provide technical support for healthcare information systems. Applications are welcome from candidates of all nationalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support, maintain and patch Oracle-based healthcare information systems.
- Develop and maintain Oracle database objects including SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, Procedures, Packages and Triggers.
- Perform routine database administration for Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, including backups, monitoring, startup/shutdown, user management and security.
- Administer and maintain TCP/IP networks in Windows and Linux environments.
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for hardware, software, networking and end-user issues.
- Install, configure and customise desktop applications, email clients and utility software.
- Deliver end-user training and maintain up-to-date training documentation.
- Assist with IT projects, system implementations and disaster recovery planning.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience developing Oracle database applications (Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g or 12c).
- Minimum 3 years' experience working in two-tier and n-tier client/server environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with PC hardware and peripheral troubleshooting.
- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP networking and Windows/Linux administration.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards, including HL7, DICOM, ICD and ISO.
- Proven experience supporting large-scale IT networks within healthcare facilities (essential).
- Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English.
Desirable Skills
- Medical imaging systems and DICOM integration.
- Patient data privacy and information security.
- Linux/Unix server administration.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
