AI Governance Assessment Consultant

I’m looking for freelance support for a potential enterprise AI Governance and Maturity Assessment.

The Role:

🔎 AI Governance Assessment Consultant

You will work closely with a senior Project Lead and support the assessment through: → preparing and conducting stakeholder interviews → documenting and structuring interview insights → reviewing AI governance documents, records and evidence → corroborating interview statements with available evidence → mapping evidence against assessment criteria → documenting evidence gaps and preliminary observations → supporting an AI use-case walkthrough → preparing inputs for maturity ratings and recommendations → supporting the AI-related sections of the assessment report

You might be a fit if you:

→ understand how AI is governed and implemented in enterprise organisations → bring consulting, assessment, risk or audit-related experience → are confident conducting interviews in English → can analyse policies, processes and evidence systematically → have experience in AI governance, Responsible AI, AI risk or AI transformation → can translate complex information into clear, evidence-based observations → write clearly and work independently

Experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, AI lifecycle governance or technology risk is a strong plus.

This is a part-time freelance opportunity, expected between October and December 2026.
