We are looking for a specialist for a project to migrate legacy infrastructure and applications to Yandex Cloud.

Requirements:
- from 3 years of commercial experience in DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering
- proficient Kubernetes + Helm
- experience migrating applications from old Kubernetes versions to current ones, understanding of deprecated APIs and specifics of migration from Kubernetes 1.11
- practical experience with Yandex Cloud: Compute Cloud, VPC, Managed Kubernetes, Object Storage, managed DB
- Terraform / OpenTofu, working with ready-made IaC modules
- development and support of GitLab CI/CD
- experience migrating CI/CD from Bamboo or similar systems
- Linux, VM and network parameter configuration
- experience migrating PostgreSQL / MySQL / other databases
Will be a plus:
- Yandex Managed PostgreSQL / MySQL / Redis / Kafka
- Argo CD / FluxCD
- Container Registry
- Helmfile / Kustomize
- experience in large migration projects and migration of legacy applications
Tasks:
- technical inventory of applications before migration
- migrating Kubernetes applications to Yandex Cloud
- adapting manifests / Helm charts for current Kubernetes
- fixing deprecated APIs and incompatible configurations
- migrating VMs, databases, and service components to Yandex Cloud managed services
- data migration and technical validation after transfer
- transforming Bamboo pipelines → GitLab CI
- configuring deployment / rollback processes
- documenting migrations, workarounds, and limitations
