Principal Security Officer

📍 Location: Cyprus (full-time onsite / relocation possible)

Responsibilities: — Building and full ownership of the IT Security function from scratch — Working in a regulated environment (DORA, MiCA) — Responsibility for key security areas: Custody & Key Management, Incident Response, Security Monitoring, GDPR / PII, On-Chain Risk, etc. — Participation in code review, threat modeling, security architecture, and hands-on security engineering — Interaction with CySEC and European regulators — Collaboration with Compliance and AML teams

What's important: — Experience building a security function in a fintech / crypto / custody environment — Deep understanding of institutional crypto custody security — Practical experience with EU regulators, MiCA, CASP, CySEC — Strong cloud security expertise (AWS, IAM, KMS, EKS, etc.) — Experience in application security and secure SDLC — Practical experience with ISO 27001 / SOC 2 — Good command of Russian and English languages — Willingness to work from Cyprus

Will be a plus: — Experience combining security leadership and GDPR/DPO functions — Real experience managing security incidents and post-mortem processes
