About the role

We are looking for an experienced Golang team lead for our backend team.

Job description

• Ownership: bank-domain services (transactions, balances/limits, AML/KYC, partners); • Architecture: reliability, scalability, security, compliance; • Delivery: prioritization, planning, slicing, risk control; • Engineering: code review, standards, contract tests (gRPC/OpenAPI), zero-downtime DB; • Operations: SLI/SLO, monitoring, alerting, incidents, postmortems; • People: mentoring, growth, hiring, onboarding; • Collaboration: Compliance, Security, Finance, product/platform teams.

Qualifications

You have:

• 5+ years of backend experience; • 2+ years of experience as a team lead; • Go (prod): concurrency, profiling; • Postgres: tx/isolations, locks, schema, zero-downtime migrations; • Distributed: Kafka, events, outbox/Saga, idempotency/dedup; • APIs: gRPC/OpenAPI, semver, backward compatibility; • Reliability: SLI/SLO, Prometheus/Grafana, Jaeger, incidents, MTTR/CFR; • Ops: Docker/K8s, CI/CD, canary/rollback; • Security/Compliance: audit logs, secrets/IAM, AML mindset; • Leadership: mentoring 3+, hiring, feedback.

Highly preferred:

• Temporal, workflow orchestration; • Money/decimal, ledger; • Redis, caching, TTL, circuit breaker; • Fintech/payments/crypto, anti-fraud/AML rule engines; • AWS, Helm/Kustomize, cost-aware design; • Go performance: pprof/trace, GC tuning, DB/query profiling.
