Vacancy: Senior iOS Developer
Location: Poland, Kazakhstan, EU countries, Armenia, Georgia.
Work format: full-time, remote.
Rate: from 290-300,000 ₽ net.
Employment: Sole Proprietorship, Permanent Contract.
Hiring specifics: outstaffing via company RED.
Language: English (B2 level).
Duration: until the end of the year.
Project: product delivery team responsible for the development and support of geofunctionality and real-time location tracking services — including user geo-features in the app and an integration layer to enhance user experience.
Tasks:
- design, develop, and maintain iOS app functionality — from implementation to release;
- interact with cross-functional teams on feature design, architecture, and online experiments;
- develop geo-specific features: pick-up/drop-off, transport availability, routes, fixed points, real-time tracking;
- integrate Core Location, real-time location tracking, geofences, APIs, map SDKs (including Google Maps), route and transport data;
- apply Clean Architecture principles, conduct PR reviews according to coding standards and secure data flows;
- configure monitoring dashboards, investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis with Backend and QA teams to prevent regressions;
- ensure code quality through unit tests, snapshot and UI testing, as well as code reviews;
- support feature flags, A/B experiments, and controlled/phased feature rollouts.
Requirements (Hard Skills):
- 4+ years of commercial iOS development experience;
- expert knowledge of iOS SDK 13+, UIKit, SwiftUI, Alamofire, SnapKit, Google Maps, APNs, Swift Package Manager, REST/HTTP polling, Firebase, mobile analytics;
- experience with design systems and component libraries in SwiftUI/UIKit;
- strong proficiency with RESTful APIs and third-party library integration;
- deep understanding of working with offline storage and modern concurrency (async/await, GCD);
- skills in performance tuning and analyzing offline storage and concurrency issues using Xcode Instruments and network debugging tools;
- understanding of Clean Architecture principles and architectural patterns (MVC, MVVM, MVP);
- practical experience with Core Location, geofences, real-time location tracking, and geo-features;
- experience developing mapping applications and integrating mapping, routing, or transport/location data services;
- understanding of backend service operations and API design;
- strong Git proficiency;
- familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and code quality control tools;
- good knowledge of App Store Review Guidelines and the full mobile app delivery lifecycle;
- ability to write maintainable and testable code with high unit and snapshot test coverage;
- experience with design collaboration tools.
Additional (Nice to have):
- experience with feature flags and experimentation frameworks;
- experience using package management tools and integrating third-party libraries;
- experience applying AI tools to accelerate development and testing.
