We are building an AI platform for the production of short vertical videos with expert and educational content. The product helps transform source materials into ready-made clips: selecting fragments, processing video and audio, creating subtitles, and adding elements for publication.
The project is currently at the MVP stage. We plan to connect the first experts in August 2026 and conduct the first client launches in September.
We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer with strong expertise in Python to take ownership of product development and participate in shaping its architecture.
Initially, you will develop the core video pipeline: from uploading source materials to producing a finished video.
— Design backend, API, and data structures; — develop functional interfaces using React; — integrate AI, video, and speech-to-text services; — build queues and background processing workflows; — work with uploading, storing, and processing video files; — deploy changes and diagnose issues post-release; — improve system speed and stability.
Tasks are not provided as ready-made technical specifications but as product problems or expected user outcomes. The engineer needs to independently clarify constraints, compare implementation options, and choose a solution suitable for the MVP stage.
Initially, the engineer will work closely with the CPO, Product Manager, and a designer. Direct reporting will be to the CPO.
The CPO has a technical background, but there will be no ready-made architectural solutions or detailed technical decomposition. There are currently no separate CTO or DevOps engineers, so the role requires high autonomy and influence over the product's technical aspects.
As the project grows, the engineering team will expand.
Backend: Python, FastAPI, asynchronous processes, background tasks, queues, external APIs. Frontend: React or another modern JavaScript framework. Data & Infrastructure: PostgreSQL, Cloudflare R2, Railway, Git. The stack is not definitively fixed: the engineer can propose other tools if they are better suited to the product's tasks.
— Five or more years of commercial development experience and work at a senior level; — strong Python skills and experience launching production applications; — FastAPI or a comparable Python framework; — API and data schema design; — experience with asynchronous operations, queues, and long-running background processes; — confident knowledge of PostgreSQL: indexes, transactions, migrations, and query optimization; — practical experience with React and integrating frontend with backend APIs; — independent application deployment and post-release diagnostics; — experience with file or S3-compatible storage.
Experience launching a product or major feature from scratch, working in a startup or small team, and direct interaction with CPO, Product Manager, or founder is particularly relevant.
This role is suitable for an engineer who continues to write code independently, does not expect a ready-made architecture, and can make technical decisions in conditions of uncertainty.
In daily development, we use Claude Code for working with the codebase, verifying hypotheses, and accelerating implementation.
The engineer must understand and verify generated code, identify errors, and be responsible for the quality of the final solution. Experience with Claude Code will be an advantage, but systematic work with Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, or other AI tools will also suffice.
— FFmpeg, OpenCV, MediaPipe, or YOLO; — Whisper and other speech-to-text tools; — human or object recognition and tracking; — video and audio processing; — LangGraph, LangChain, LLM pipelines, or RAG; — experience in AI SaaS, MediaTech, or VideoTech.
