Digital Silk Road Company is a subsidiary of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. We develop and support state information systems that ensure the digitalization of tax and customs processes, as well as create services for business and citizens.

Job Description: • Development and support of backend services in Python. • Design and optimization of REST/gRPC API. • Working with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, ClickHouse, ElasticSearch). • Integration of microservices and external APIs. • Working with MinIO, integration of file storage systems. • Support and optimization of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, FastStream). • Participation in architectural decisions, code reviews. • Performance optimization and system fault tolerance improvement. • Configuration and support of logging and monitoring (ELK stack). • Administration and container management via Docker, Portainer.

• Commercial Python development experience of 3+ years (Middle) / 5+ years (Senior). • Knowledge of one of the frameworks: Django / FastAPI / Flask. • Experience with PostgreSQL, writing complex SQL queries, optimization. • Experience with ClickHouse, ElasticSearch. • Understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns. • Experience with Docker, Git, GitLab, CI/CD, Portainer. • Knowledge and experience with asynchronous programming (asyncio, aiohttp, FastAPI async, FastStream). • Experience with MinIO, file and cloud storage. • Dependency management skills (pip, poetry, uv). • Bonus points: experience with Kubernetes, cloud services (AWS, GCP, Yandex Cloud).
