An international product IT company is looking for a Financial Analyst for its team in Limassol.

The main focus of the role is the analysis of payment systems and working with large volumes of data. We are looking for someone who loves numbers, can find the reasons and patterns behind them, and wants to influence business results, not just compile reports.

What you will do: analyze the effectiveness of payment systems and aggregators; monitor conversion and payment traffic distribution; analyze currency risks; collect, clean, and process large datasets; identify the reasons for changes in indicators and formulate conclusions; interact with related teams and participate in process improvements.

About 85% of the tasks are related to the analysis of payment systems, and about 15% are related to the analysis of currency risks.

What is important: experience in finance / financial or business analytics; higher education in finance, economics, or a related field; proficient knowledge of Excel: complex formulas, dynamic arrays, Power Query, Power Pivot; experience working with large datasets; understanding of statistics and strong analytical thinking; the ability not just to collect data, but to interpret it, find the reasons for changes, and propose solutions; autonomy, attention to detail, and results orientation.

Will be a big plus: experience with payment systems or payment aggregators; experience in a large international company, consulting, or Big4; knowledge of Python.

We consider both experienced specialists and candidates with less experience, if they have a strong foundation, motivation to learn, and develop in financial analytics.
