Pixel Art Artist for a Project

Hello everyone! We are looking for an experienced pixel art artist for a casual puzzle game. In this game, each level includes one pixel art image with a resolution of up to 38x38. The artist is required to draw images for the levels, strictly adhering to the requirements.

Art Requirements:

• It must be a finished, attractive piece of art in the specified style
• Resolution from 24x24 to 38x38
• Work strictly within our palette, 16 colors
• 6–12 colors per image
• Composition format: object(s) on a blank canvas, a single connected mass - objects must not be separated
• Maintain a consistent "grain" and style throughout
• Do not use: anti-aliasing, dithering (checkerboard of two colors), gradients

Several examples of art can be viewed in the application form at the link below. We will also provide you with a large package of references for style and concepts for the images.

What we expect from you:

• Confident pixel art at native low resolution, not pixel-stylization
• Sense of style and taste: readable silhouette, volume, and mood are needed. It should be a finished, beautiful piece of art
• Experience working with someone else's style guide and within a fixed palette
• A portfolio with pixel art is mandatory

We work on a project basis. Payment is piece-rate for a package of images, based on the interview results.
