We are currently looking for a Java/Kotlin developer for a new project. We are developing MTS Insurance – a large-scale Insurtech direction. The company creates insurance products embedded in the customer journey on digital storefronts of ecosystem companies, using technologies to optimize and increase the efficiency of the insurance process.

Our stack and approach:

Backend: Java 21, Kotlin, Spring (Boot, Cloud, Data), Micronaut (will be a plus).

Databases: PostgreSQL, big data processing.

Asynchronous communication: Apache Kafka.

Infrastructure: Modern cloud solutions (K8s, Docker), CI/CD (GitLab CI/Jenkins).

Methodologies: Agile (Scrum/Kanban), emphasis on code and data quality.

You will be:

• Developing server-side applications in Java/Kotlin
• participating in the search, analysis, and development of architectural solutions
• conducting code reviews for continuous improvement
• participating in the development of technical and technological processes within the team and the company
• communicating with architects, analysts, testers, and other developers
• writing SQL queries
• covering new functionality with unit and integration tests
• interacting with clients and analysts during the design and implementation of tasks

What is important to us:

• Java development experience of 3+ years or Kotlin development experience of 2+ years
• good knowledge of Java SE (Collections, Concurrency, JMM, GC)
• understanding the essence of the MVC pattern, experience with Spring
• good knowledge of SQL
• ability to work with the Linux terminal
• experience in implementing services within a microservice architecture
• understanding the internal structure of Spring Framework
• experience in participating in architectural patterns and decision-making
• experience in participating in incident analysis

Will be an advantage

• experience with Kafka
• experience with Micronaut
• understanding of coroutines
