WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Senior Python Developer
📌Company: International product company 📍Location: Cyprus, Limassol | Full-time (hybrid)
🏷Responsibilities: 🔵Develop and launch backend features together with product teams (mobile, web, marketing, analytics). 🔵Connect AI and API providers and automate integrations so that new connections do not require manual work. 🔵Develop data processing systems: data reception and sending, data and user matching, event and user lifecycle. 🔵Improve internal support tools: find the causes of problems and user information faster. 🔵Participate in architectural decisions, improve the reliability and flexibility of backend systems.
🏷What is important to us: 🔵At least 5 years of commercial development experience, Python is the main language. 🔵Confident work with Django and FastAPI, as well as PostgreSQL, Kafka, and Redis. 🔵Experience in designing complex reusable architectural solutions. 🔵Deep use of AI in work: Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, agents, MCP. Not just for generating tests. 🔵Initiative: propose ideas and bring them to completion. 🔵Will be a plus: Go and understanding of React, Swift, or Kotlin, as well as how clients interact with the backend.
Stack: Python 3, Django, FastAPI, FastMCP, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, pytest, GitHub Actions.
The backend team is small, we plan to expand it next year, so there is a clear path to a lead role. Services are updated, there is almost no legacy.
