Doctor Web is exploring new digital threats every day and developing solutions to effectively protect against them. We are now looking for a promising specialist who will help maintain the high quality of our products. A tester in our company is, first and foremost, an engineer fully participating in the production process. We test the company's key products, make release decisions, make suggestions for new functionality, and actively participate in the modernization of existing ones.
Your responsibilities will include:
- performing manual testing of antivirus products and their components;
- creating and maintaining test cases;
- logging bugs in the bug tracker, and controlling the fixing process;
- assisting the company's technical support in resolving complex user cases.
We expect you to:
- know and understand software testing and development processes;
- know Windows OS family at an advanced user level (understand what processes, registry are, understand how networks work and be able to find a computer's IP addresses, explain the TCP/IP protocol to us);
- have created test documentation (checklists, test cases, test plans, test reports);
- be able to analyze information and want to develop in the field of testing.
It will be a plus:
- experience with virtual machines (VirtualBox, VMWare);
- familiarity with SysInternals utilities (Process Monitor, Process Explorer, ProcDump);
- understanding of network fundamentals.
