REMOTE | TOWNLIVE GAMES
We create mobile games and develop R&D in AI application. We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer (Middle+/Senior) to develop test automation, reduce manual regression, and help the team release stable updates faster.
The main work on creating and refining autotests will be built through AI assistants and agents. You will design checks, assign tasks to AI, verify the results, and ensure reliable operation in the project.
Responsibilities:
- Automate priority scenarios considering player and business risks: critical game mechanics, progress saving, and integrations;
- Use AI to create and maintain autotests, test data, and auxiliary tools for the Unity client, API, and integrations;
- Verify the quality of generated tests: correctness of expected results, reproducibility, and ability to detect errors. Analyze false positives and missed checks;
- Integrate your area's checks into regular CI/CD runs with the team. Make results understandable and analyze causes of failures;
- Use AI to analyze requirements, logs, crashes, and prepare test documentation. Verify conclusions based on actual data;
- Conduct exploratory testing of complex and new scenarios, report risks before release. Measure how automation affects regression time and check quality
Requirements:
- Commercial experience in QA for mobile games or Unity projects for at least 2 years. Ability to independently understand mechanics, identify risks, and design checks, including negative and edge cases;
- Practical experience in automation in a commercial project: you can show tests or tools that you have launched and maintained. Solutions created mainly with AI are also suitable;
- Practical application of AI in automation: provide project context, break down tasks into steps, create and run checks, fix failed solutions;
- Ability to read changes proposed by AI, explain test logic, and verify that it detects the correct error. Distinguish between a game defect, a test error, or an environment failure;
- Understand the specifics of Android/iOS, API, and client-server interaction. Ability to use logs and network requests to find the root cause of a problem;
- Experience with Git and running autotests in CI/CD. Ability to explain what exactly was tested, where the risk remains, and what the next step is for the team.
Will be a plus:
- Experience in automating Unity through AltTester, Airtest/Poco, Unity Test Framework, or other suitable tools;
- Testing ads, purchases, analytics events, and SDK integrations. Working with Firebase, AppMetrica, AppsFlyer, or AppLovin;
- Cases of reducing regression and unstable tests, running checks on devices, and reusing automation across projects.
Work Environment:
Unity, Android/iOS, TeamCity, Testy, Jira, and Confluence. The language and framework for autotests are chosen based on the project and existing solutions.
What we offer:
- Remote work from anywhere in the world with synchronization to GMT+3;
- Competitive compensation, which depends on your experience, technical expertise, and level of independence in tasks.
- 28 days of paid vacation;
- 10 sick days per year;
- Work on a live Unity project and tasks at the intersection of QA, automation, and AI;
- Opportunity to propose solutions, influence the testing approach, and see the results of your work;
- Bonuses and gifts for important life events.
In your application, please describe one specific case: what you automated, how you used AI, how you verified the quality of the solution, and what changed for the team. Specify your salary expectations and time zone.
