Job description

TL;DR Java Developer (Java/Spring Boot): Development and support of backend services in Java with an emphasis on PostgreSQL design, asynchronous interaction via Kafka, and work on multiple task streams. Focus on optimizing schemas and queries, switching between tasks, and interacting with different teams.

Java Developer: Format: part-time, remote Workload: from 20 to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Development and support of backend services in Java (Spring Boot)
• Design and optimization of schemas and queries in PostgreSQL
• Organization of asynchronous service interaction via Kafka
• Parallel work on multiple task streams simultaneously, without being tied to a single product
• Interaction with different teams as needed

Requirements

• Commercial Java development experience of at least 1 year
• Proficient in Spring Boot
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with Kafka (or willingness to quickly learn it)
• Independence and ability to switch between tasks in a part-time context

Will be a plus

• Docker, experience with microservice architecture
• Redis
• Experience combining multiple projects or freelance.
