Lead Backend Golang Developer
Client: Telecom
Location: Russian Federation / Belarus
Citizenship: Russian Federation, Republic of Belarus
Work format: remote
Income level: from 2,200 ₽/hour gross and above. The final rate will be discussed individually based on the results of the technical interview.
We are looking for a Lead Backend Golang Developer for a major telecom project to develop and evolve a cloud platform.
Requirements:
- Commercial development experience of 7+ years.
- Development team management experience of 2+ years.
- Cloud platform development experience is mandatory.
- Proficient knowledge of Golang.
- Experience with Terraform.
- Experience with Temporal development.
- Experience with Python development (knowledge of Unform at least at a basic level).
- Infrastructure automation experience (preferably geo-distributed).
- Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Experience in designing distributed systems and microservice architecture.
- Experience developing high-load systems.
- Experience participating in Open Source projects (preferably with links to commits).
- Rust will be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and evolve the cloud platform.
- Design and develop distributed microservices in Golang.
- Automate infrastructure and CI/CD processes.
- Develop solutions using Terraform, Temporal, and Python.
- Ensure fault tolerance and scalability of services.
- Lead the development team, conduct code reviews, 1-on-1s, and mentoring.
- Interact with business, architects, and other teams.
