Task for the first stage
We are accepting the project from a contractor and moving development in-house. Initially, you need to study the codebase and infrastructure, verify the completeness of the project transfer, stabilize tests and CI, and assess technical debt. Take over the support and development of the project.
What you will be doing
- Support and develop REST API;
- Develop models, serializers, administrative panel, and business logic;
- Develop integration with Bitrix24;
- Write PostgreSQL migrations and ensure the security of schema changes;
- Support Celery worker and periodic tasks;
- Identify and fix technical debt;
- Analyze production errors and bring fixes to release;
- Write and maintain tests;
- Gradually split large modules without risky project rewrites.
What is required
- Commercial experience in Python and Django development;
- Solid knowledge of Django ORM and Django REST Framework;
- Experience with PostgreSQL: migrations, indexes, transactions, locks;
- Understanding of Celery and message queues;
- Experience writing tests with pytest;
- Ability to work with Docker and CI/CD;
- Ability to read other people's code and make local changes instead of rewriting the entire system;
- Independence in error diagnostics.
Will be a plus
- Experience using AI to accelerate development;
- Experience integrating with Bitrix24;
- Experience supporting a project with a large number of model relationships.
