Tech Lead Developer for the Speech Analytics Team
About the Team
The Commercial Department of Avito is responsible for developing the sales department and increasing its efficiency. Our team is developing a speech analytics system to better understand customer needs and improve the effectiveness of sales managers.
To scale ML solutions and build reliable services around speech analytics and LLMs, we are looking for a strong technical leader - a person who will take on the development of the team and actively participate in the development process.
You will be responsible for:
- technically leading a team of engineers, working with them as a coach and mentor;
- preparing technical solutions, decomposing requirements, estimating efforts and risks;
- deep diving into the product specifics and business processes together with the team's Go and DS engineers;
- making architectural decisions and being responsible for their quality and resilience;
- ensuring high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance of developed solutions;
- designing and developing microservices in Go that power the speech analytics product and its components;
- working with large volumes of data, queues, ML model APIs, and infrastructure.
We expect you to:
- have experience managing a development team;
- have at least 3 years of commercial development experience in Golang;
- know how to build high-load and fault-tolerant services;
- possess good engineering practices: testing, monitoring, logging, profiling;
- be able to design, discuss, and defend architectural decisions;
- adhere to a systematic approach in working with people (motivation, development, adaptation).
