Job Responsibilities
- Write clean, concise code that is stable and extensible,
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application,
- Communicate frequently and effectively with other engineers, product managers and the creative team,
- Identify, debug, and resolve bugs, crashes, and performance issues in both development and production environments,
- Optimize application performance and scalability,
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, functional code,
- Stay up to date on the latest industry trends in mobile technologies and adopt best practices,
- Implement Material Design principles with a strong focus on UI and user experience,
- Estimate task complexity and self-manage execution of medium to large features/bug fixes, ensuring timely delivery,
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to achieve project goals.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience,
- More than 6 years of experience in Android development.
- Solid background in software development and design patterns,
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java,
- Strong knowledge of the Android SDK and different versions of Android.
- Solid understanding of the mobile development lifecycle, including UI/UX principles,
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (e.g., Retrofit, Hilt, Firebase),
- A demonstrable portfolio of Android applications is a plus,
- Good command of English, both written and spoken,
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
